Who We Are
RePass Cloud is a small, technically focused team building cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software systems that matter. We’re a mixed bunch — different backgrounds, different time zones, different stories. Everyone is welcome here.
We’re not a corporate enterprise and we’ll never try to be. We move fast, we take ownership, and we get things done. If you’d rather ship something great than attend a meeting about it, you’ll fit right in.
How We Work
We operate on a hybrid model with genuine flexibility. Some of our team works fully remotely; others work from an office that isn’t near our Sydney head office. What we care about is output, communication, and reliability — not where you sit.
We are a digital-first organisation. Flexible working arrangements are the norm, not the exception.

We trust our people to manage their own work. You won’t be micromanaged. You’re expected to take ownership of your domain, raise blockers early, and deliver on your commitments.
Engineering Excellence
We care deeply about quality — not perfection at the cost of progress, but a genuine commitment to building things well, understanding trade-offs, and continuously improving.
Small Team Ownership
In a small team, everyone’s contribution matters. We don’t have layers of people to absorb mistakes or ambiguity. Each person owns their piece and is accountable to the team.
Innovation
We encourage experimentation, fresh thinking, and challenging assumptions. If you have a better way to do something, say so. We’d rather hear it than not.
What We Expect
Our engineers and contractors are expected to:
- Work independently and manage their own priorities
- Solve complex, ambiguous problems without waiting to be told what to do
- Communicate clearly — with the team, with clients, and with stakeholders
We work with people, not just code. The human element matters.

- Experience — have you done it, or can you demonstrate you’re capable?

Tools We Use
We provide our team with access to the tools they need to do their best work — including AI. We give employees and contractors access to Claude by Anthropic, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and whatever else supports the work.
We use AI to supplement and enhance our own capabilities, not to replace the thinking. The expectation is that AI is used in the best interest of the organisation and the client.
